The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) is the volcano observatory on the Island of Hawaii that monitors the four active Hawaiian volcanoes: Kîlauea, Mauna Loa, Hualâlai, and Haleakalâ. All have erupted in recorded history. There is also the main active vent of Halemaʻumaʻu, which has active vents but has not erupted in recoreded history.
