    Parts of the Rocky Mountains in North America are a mere 50 to 100 million years old. Just infants in geological time. Are there areas in the world today that geologists predict may become mountain ranges in 50 million years or so?

    		Some will, some won't. Here's why:

    50 million years from now, there will be a continental drift again. If the conecting plates will clash together so hard, that will be a mountain. Just like the Himalayas.

    Some won't after the continental drift. If it's in the center of the continent, it won't make a bigger mountain range.
