Is Haemophilia caused by a dominant or recessive gene?

Question #112276. Asked by clarod. (Jan 21 10 11:36 AM)

It's an x-linked recessive trait. For men, if they have the trait they will express it. For women, they can be a carrier if only one of their x chromosomes has the trait -- but to express the trait (i.e. HAVE hemophilia) the trait needs to be present in both X chromosomes.

Here's what wikipedia has to say about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haemophilia

I am doing some science work at present, specifically inheritance and variation. I keep finding references to eye colour. Blue is recessive and brown is dominant but I can't seem to find out whether green is recessive or dominant, or some kind of variation on this. Can anyone help?
