    1936, in fact. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gone_with_the_Wind I wonder if flem-ish is counting centuries by a continental system, or has he another Pansy and Scarlett in mind?

    Sorry..set in 19th century history of USA, but belonging to 20th century literature. And no, we Continentals do not all count the Italian way, letting Novecentesco refer to 20th century.
