    		Either "Professor Solomon" or the brother with whom he made his first trip to Coney Island is named Steven. See the copyright page of this book - "Pictures in Part III by the author. Book Design by Steven Solomon" - and the name under the picture on page 4.

    		So putting the two books together, I would venture that he is Leonard and his brother Steven, since the Coney Island book refers to the author (Professor Solomon) and Steven, and the other one refers to Steven and Leonard. Unless it's all fictional!
