    		The original inhabitants of the area that is now Ontario included:

    The Algonquin
    The Cree
    The Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) tribes
    The Huron
    The Ojibwe
    The Ottawa
    The Neutral, Petun, and Wenro tribes

    The Munsee Delaware people were not originally native to Ontario, but migrated there after the Americans forced them out of their own homelands. Their descendants still live in Ontario today.
