    Are there any cities in the Southern Hemisphere that could host a Winter Olympics?

    		New Zealand and Australia get snow but not the world class facilities for winter olympics like Europe does.

    		The Southern Andes of Argentina and Chile would have enough snow for skiing and snow boarding, but some of the other events might be more difficult to stage in that part of the world.

    		Since 1924 none so far Southern Hemisphere city has ever bid to host the Winter Olympics

    		Peru also has some winter venues...in fact some US skiers and snowboarders train in Peru during the northern hemisphere summer.
