We don't normally do this, but I found this mislabeled at Wikipedia. Now I think it's been correctly labeled, but am just wondering. It's a statue of a standing king with a crown on his head and a scepter extended in his right hand. His left hand rests on a small boy to his left. Of what material is the statue made? Who sculpted it? Where is it? Who is the king? Who is the boy?

This is of course the Statue of King David created by Nicolas Cordier a French sculptor and painter, in the Renaissance era, and it can be found in the Borghese Chapel of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome Italy,

The statue depicts the form of David Who David, conqueror of Goliath, pointing towards his descendant, the Messiah
