    What is the name of the oldest chestnut tree in the world?

    		Located in Sicily in the foothills of Mt Etna is the Hundred Horse chestnut tree. Believed to be the oldest tree in Sicily and possibly the oldest in Europe. I don't know about the oldest in the world though.

More from above site: In this land of legend combined with the occasional fact, the name "Hundred Horses" owes its name to the traditional story that during a sudden rainstorm the young Joan (Giovanna) of Aragon, Queen of Naples, travelling with a mounted suite of around a hundred retainers and knights, sought shelter under the huge tree.

    		The oldest tree in the world is a bristlecone pine nicknamed Methuselah after the long-lived Biblical character. It is estimated to be about 4,800 years old
