It's currently unlikely, but very *possible*, especially if you open e-mails or download third party apps. You'd be more likely to run into spyware rather than a virus like a computer virus though, including keystroke logs and apps that transmit your passwords and other personal info stored in Blackberries to other people via internet.
There aren't many known cell phone device viruses, but rest assured, there's probably scammers out there working on them, as Blackberrys and Iphones become more and more popular.
