Well, I can't find a decent online reference but based on my own extensive reading of Ufology, Alien Abduction, etc I can list some of the more common alien types for you.
In the 1950s, benevolent aliens known colloquially as "Space Brothers" were common, these were the "Nordic" type aliens; tall, blonde, very human (often with strange eyes), they warned of the dangers of the atomic arms race etc -- think the original "Day The Earth Stood Still". As "Grays" became more common, many variations became apparent -- small, tall, large eyes, small eyes. But other aliens were often associated with them, particularly by Whitley Strieber in the "Communion" books, some small and squat, blue in colour. Strieber referred to these as "The Good Army", and they have some resemblance to the "Robotic" type aliens often reported by the patients of Dr John Mack in his book "Abduction: Human Interaction with Aliens". Finally, there are the "Reptillian" type aliens also reported by Dr Mack, these are often described as the most terrifying aliens but it is often implied that all these "types" are merely different versions of the same entities, our perception of them changing as the situation demands. This is a rich vein of study, as it often draws in elements of folklore and it becomes apparent that many myths such as the "little people" of Europe and "giants" of Eurasia are, in fact, sightings and encounters with the same type entities couched in the vernacular of the times.
Interestingly, the rarest type of alien reported? Little green men.

Most common aliens:
Greys: These are the main extraterrestrials sighted in North America. They range from very short to very tall, tend to be thin, and have large heads. Greys have large, solid black, wraparound eyes that are almond shaped or slanted.
Blondes: These aliens look like beautiful humans. They usually have blonde hair, but dark hair is not unheard of. They are slightly taller than average with tan to olive skin. Some Blondes have been seen with strange, hypnotic eyes. These aliens have claimed to be from the other planets in our solar system.
Men In Black: The Men in Black, or MIBs, have been around long before the movie with the same name came out. Common appearance consists of a man of very pale or olive complexion in a black business suit with tie and hat. They have also been seen as short men with Asiatic features in white jumpsuits with belts and high soled shoes working on telephone poles. Sunglasses are not uncommon and dark, slanted eyes are the norm.
Mothman: Mothman was sighted in the Ohio River valley area in the late 1960's. This creature is larger than a man, has large, bat-like wings, no discernable head and large, and glowing red, hypnotic eyes. Mothman may have claws. The entity can fly, and although it seems that it can do so without moving its wings, there are reports of the sound of flapping wings during encounters.
Reptilians: The Reptilians seem to be a racial offshoot of the Greys. They are usually tall and thin, looking like Greys but with darker, scaly skin and eyes with slitted pupils. They are encountered with or without clothes. These aliens are often encountered with the Greys, and seem to be the ones giving the orders.
