    Did Jerry Blavat at the American Bandstand in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, fire Bob Horn for drunk driving?

    		Bob Horn was fired for a drunk driving conviction on July 9, 1956, and was replaced by Dick Clark (after a brief stint from producer Tony Mammarella). Jerry Blavat was with the show at the time, but I cannot find out if he was the one who did the firing.

    		Blavat, who was 16 at the time, left the show in protest when Horn was fired.
