What kitchen utensil did Peter Falk carry in his pocket as Lt. Columbo?

Question #114097. Asked by brikalhal. (Apr 13 10 3:59 PM)

I don't normally think of it as a utensil, but Columbo has said that he usually carries "a salt shaker in my pocket."
