    On what day of the week is Thanksgiving?

    		In the U.S. it's on a Thursday. Canada celebrates it on a Monday.

    		We celebrate Thanksgiving on the 4th Thursday of November. George Washington set the date June 29, 1671, then Abraham Lincold changed it to the 4th Tuesday of November. Franklin Roosevelt moved the holiday to the 3rd Thursday of November to extend Christmas shopping and after protest changed it to the 4th Thursday of November where it stands today.
