    How long does it take for snow falling on central Iceland to reach the ocean as ice?

    		It's possible the snow would evaporate before freezing into a glacier or melting into a river, and it also depends on the glacier it fell on, where on the glacier it fell, the glacier's speed, gradient changes, volcanic disturbances, etc.
