    Bubblegum is less viscous than chewing gum, and so is less likely to stick to itself when bubbles are blown.

    		The secret ingredient in bubble gum is a class of ingredients called "plasticizers," a synthetic gum base that stretches farther than plain resin. Plasticizers guarantee sufficient elasticy to insure that little kids of all ages can pop huge bubbles over their faces.
