From late May to late July, for how many hours a day do the people of Norway experience sunlight?

Question #116064. Asked by armindasantana. (Jul 17 10 5:27 PM)

Oslo is about 18 hours for July. Other months can also be checked here.

But Oslo is in the very south of the country. The further north you go, the longer the summer days (and, conversely, winter nights) become. If you are in a part of Norway that is inside the Arctic Circle, you will have a period of time when the sun never appears to set, just move up and down near the horizon. That is why it is nicknamed "The Land of the Midnight Sun."
