    Which happened first, Victoria crowned Queen of England or 'Oliver Twist' first published?

    Depends on what you mean by "published". Wiki starts off by stating that Oliver Twist was first published in 1838, but then later on indicates tha serialiasation began in February 1837.

    Victoria was crowned on June 28th 1838, long after all three parts of Oliver Twist had been published.
