    In Britain they were mainly called WRAfs from the Women's Royal Air Force, but often penguins as they couldn't fly

    In the United States Air Force, they are called "airmen" or specifically referenced by their rank (Airman, Sergeant, Chief, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, or General).
