The man who played him was the 6'6" Trinidadian actor Geoffrey Holder but the villain was actually called Baron Samedi aka The Man Who Cannot Die. I'm also not sure if he can be called one of Ian Fleming's villains as he is not a separate character in the book, but Kananga aka Mr Big is mistakenly thought to be a personification of the voodoo spirit of the dead named Baron Samedi.

The film suggests he may be the only Bond villain that can survive death after he survives landing in a pit of vipers to appear at the end of the film on a train laughing maniacally.

Also in "Live and Let Die", bald and a character in both the book and the film, Tee Hee Johnson falls a couple of inches short in the height department.
