While it is currently not clear what the exact reason for the logo is, it is clear that a lot of productivity will go down the drain today!
At first it was suggested that the logo forms part of Google’s anniversary, as the company was incorporated on September 7, 1998. But the question then asked is, why only in the UK?
While many users enjoyed playing around with Google’s logo, which almost had a Déjàvu feeling around the Pacman game earlier the year incorporated into Google’s logo, some users complained that Google’s new logo creation caused their PC’s serious CPU overloading. Many users reported up to 100% CPU usage while toying with the logo.
We tried playing around with Google’s logo on several computers during various time periods today, but our performance remained in the 40 – 70% CPU usage.
Whatever the reason for Google’s new logo today, it was fun seeing the latest Doodle in Google’s archives!
