    Under what circumstances did Major Frank Burns leave the M*A*S*H unit on the show?

    		The story was told in the third episode of season 7 (or was it 6?): After Margaret's marriage, Frank was given some R&R in Tokyo, where he committed several misdemeanors involving blondes. One of these blondes happened to be a general's wife. Instead of court martialing Frank, the army thought it would be better to transfer him to a VA hospital in his home state, where he was also promoted to Lieutennant Colonel.
