I can't be sure, but Poulain (the main character's name, played by Audrey Tatou) is also one of the oldest chocolate companies in France and was bought by Cadbury's in 1988. Could that be the brand on the tin?

That's a good guess, but it's not correct.
It would've been a good brand though!
I wonder if Amélie's last name was due to her youth and innocence: "poulain" in English means "foal".
