    However, there is such a thing as "mandatory" donation:

    In some cases, rabbinic authorities believe that organ donation may be mandatory, whereas a minority opinion considers any donation of a live organ as forbidden.

    Some voluntary first aid organisations charge fees for covering large or commercial events, but ask for a 'donation' for small or very good cause ones. The amount of the donation is open, unlike the fees which are on a fixed list. If it's a fund raising event, the donation is expected; if not, and only two members are needed, it can be overlooked. (Source: helping with the paperwork...)
