Was Procopius' "The Secret History" the only historical account saying that Theodora had a son?

    Question #118913. Asked by Priscilla9. (Nov 24 10 9:36 AM)

In terms of contemporary sources, there are conflicting views:
This source specifically references the "lurid details" of Theodora's early life as being solely based on Procopius' account:
    http://www.roman-emperors.org/dora.htm

This source says that John the Lydian among other historians of the time corroborated Procopius' accounts, though perhaps not the specific details you mentioned.
There seems to be no web evidence at least so I'd opt for the former view.

Is it true that there are banks in Hong Kong, and possibly other places, that have accounts with no names or account numbers? The account holders are provided with a seal that cannot be duplicated and is as unique as a signature. Apparently this is a very old banking system that provides absolute secrecy as to the identity of the account holder.
