At the end of World War II several thousand Nazis supposedly entered a facility saying that they were leaving Germany. The door was sealed behind them and they were never seen again. Where was this?

Question #118933. Asked by Zbeckabee. (Nov 25 10 7:06 AM)

Being German myself, I can tell you that I never heard this story told in Germany. I guess this is just a kind of myth. It sounds a bit like Emperor Barbarossa, who is said to sit in Kyffhäuser mountain. :)

The closest I know of is "Operation Paperclip", the USA collected scientist to get there knowledge. But this people were seen again.

And of course, ODESSA, a group who helped Nazis to disappear, mostly into South America.
