    		A Galton's whistle is a whistle made for training dogs. It was invented by and named after Francis Galton.

    		A Galton's whistle can also be used to produce sounds shifting in pitch from ultrasonic to audible. Also it can help measure what would be the highest audible potential of the human ear.
