    Assuming all the bricks are exact size and exact weight how many RED bricks (not mixed) would there be in a ton of bricks?

    		It depends. How much does each brick weigh? Without this bit of information it's impossible to figure out.

    This says just under 6lb, or 2.7 kg per brick..
    Assuming an imperial ton, ie 2240 lb, this is equivelent to 373 bricks. A few more, depending how much under 6lb the average brick weighs.

    		There's a trick in this somewhere - why is RED in caps? Why would mixed bricks be different?

    		Weird I agree, but if they are by definition assumed to be the exact size and weight. Wait a minute, I just noticed it doesn't say they are the SAME, merely that the size and weight are exact. Hmm.
