    		Frank Woodruff Buckles (born February 1, 1901) is, at age 109, the last living American veteran of World War I, and the oldest verified World War I veteran in the world, as well as the second-oldest male military veteran in the world.

    He currently lives at Gap View Farm, in Charles Town, West Virginia, and is the Honorary Chairman of the World War I Memorial Foundation.
