    		The city is Cincinnati. "The Edge of Night's" original opening and closing titles consisted of an outdated, nearly unrecognizable black-and-white photograph of the Cincinnati skyline."

    		The skyline shot of Cincinnati would be replaced in 1980 by a shot of the Los Angeles skyline. The LA skyline remained in the opening until 1983, when the title sequence was redone, sans any skyline.
