    		It's a well known myth, the legend of Hans Brinker,But the American tourists lap it up.

    		It'd physically impossible anyway. Think about it - there's this dirty great bank of earth and stone. It's leaking. Is it going to be a nice little kid finger sized hole with a low pressure water feed? If it was, a few pebbles or a carrot would have done the job. The country wouldn't be at risk for some time, and he could have gone to get the local work force out to fix it more permanently. If it was more than that, he couldn't have done it. I never believed that story, even at six.
