    19th February 1901 was the birthdate of Florence Green (nee Patterson), who joined the RAF in 1918. She celebrated her 110th birthday yesterday. Mrs Green lives in Norfolk, England with her daughter. She is the last known female veteran of WWI (attributed to Wikipedia):

    One of the board regulars just met a different 110-year-old woman (sort of) so this made me think of him. ;)
