This appears to be Robert Hicks, a tackle for the 1999 Buffalo Bills who caught a pass from Flutie in a 20-14 loss to Oakland on 10/17/99. Hi deputygary, Yes, your answer is right. However, I failed to define the question even further. If you're willing to look further, the player who caught this one and only pass was a wide receiver. It was not a "tackle eligible pass" caught or possibly an inadvertent deflected pass caught. Thank you, temporal1. Robert Hicks' pass reception was the result of a deflection so it wasn't actually thrown to him. In 1987 WR Clay Pickering caught his only career pass while playing for New England. The game was played October 18 and their opponent was Houston. The pass was thrown by Flutie.
