    Seems to me that if the snake's teeth broke the silicone sac, the woman would be poisoned, too.

    What I meant was, if the silicone killed the snake, why isn't it killing the woman? It seems doubtful to me that the silicone would be lethal to the snake but harmless to the woman. I know next to nothing about this subject, but in exploring a bit, it seems the implants are not toxic. But maybe they are to reptiles??
