    		Gotta go for the Beatles, although they were not yet a big name at the time. Derry and The Seniors and Rory Storm and the Hurricanes played there at the same time.

    		I agree with the answer from Looney_Tunes. The Beatles played in Hamburg in 1960-1962. They had to leave, though, because George was deported for working underage.
