The Mount Washington Cog Railway, in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire is the first and oldest cog or rack railway in the world.
The Cog has been in continuous operation since 1869 with service interruptions only during the World Wars.
The 1970 version of 'The Railway Children' has a timeless quality that is hard to resist. Let me take you back to a gentler era full of sweet innocence and steam trains.
