    How much were the original creators of Superman, Siegel and Shuster, paid for their idea of the Man of Steel?

    Siegel and Shuster were paid $130.00 (or $10.00 a page) for a 13 page story of Superman that was published in Action Comics # 1 in June of 1938.
    This money was paid for the first issue as well as the rights to the character
