Would an untreated bite from micrurus fulvius ruin my whole day more than an untreated bite from heloderma suspectum?

M fulvius is the Eastern coral snake, with a rather potent venom although only two fatalities have been documented. For further information see this link

as my ophidiophobia won't allow me to dwell on it any longer....

M. fulvius is venomous and can impart a serious bite, it is not often fatal. The victim should seek medical attention,
H. suspectum is the Gila monster which also has a venomous bite which is painful but seldom fatal.
My advice would be to stay away from both, but get that snake bite checked out ASAP!
