    Vonnegut's article was called 'The Gospel from Outer Space: (Yes, We Have No Nirvanas)'. 'The Gospel from Outer Space' was the name of a science-fiction novel by Kilgore Trout, who was a regular character in many of Vonnegut's works. 'The Gospel...' was in his book 'Slaughter-house Five', which is what/who he was referrencing in his article.
