    		The Dutch area is called Baarle-Nassau, but the Belgian enclave within this is called Baarle-Hertog.

    The Treaty of Maastricht in the 19th Century. 5000 separate pieces of land in the area were each separately considered and allocated to either Belgium or Holland, so the enclave includes many isolated fields, and isolated places within the Belgian enclave that belong to Holland. These are areas of holland completely surrounded by an area of Belgium which is completely surrounded by Holland.
