    		Philip V of Spain. He reigned from 1700 to 1746. In January 1724 he abdicated in favour of his son Luis, who died of smallpox in August the same year. (Source: Encyclopaedia Britannica)

    		Philip V of Spain, formerly Philip, Duc d'Anjou. He abdicated in favour of his son Louis I and resumed the throne when Louis died the same year.
