In the countries of the former Soviet Union did agricultural production increase when the collective system was abolished?

Not right away- the transition (beginning in 1990) led to a drop in production, but productivity is becoming much higher on private farms- "The share of the individual sector in gross agricultural output increased from 26% in 1990 to 59% in 2005.
