    		Right you are. Rizzuto, of course, was the play-by-play guy. The singer who wouldn't let Meat Loaf cross the plate was Ellen Foley who, on TV, was replaced by Markie Post in Night Court's later years.

    		The voice in S_G's clip is Ellen Foley, but the woman shown is Karla Devito, who lip-synched the tune in the video.

    		Good point DMH. I should have called it one of the most memorable singles of 1977. But since the song doesn't work if you don't know baseball, it's not surprising it didn't chart in the UK.
