What are the names of the main types of ancient catapults?

Question #123348. Asked by Daaanieeel. (Aug 30 11 3:45 AM)

    CmdrK

The most ancient was probably the "katapaltai" which were arrow-firing machines. Early examples of what we think of as a catapult would be the Ballista and the Trebuchet.
