    What is considered to be the oldest human language that is still spoken today?

    This website argues since that every language changes, however gradually, that any language can be defined as the "oldest language" and if you add "still spoken today" the only thing that would change would be that some languages, but not that many, would be eliminated due to invasions etc.

    According to Wikipedia: Greek (???????? IPA: [elini?ka] or ???????? ??????, IPA: [elini?ci ??losa]) is an independent branch of the Indo-European family of languages. Native to the southern Balkans, it has the longest documented history of any Indo-European language, spanning 34 centuries of written records.
