Not if you're manufacturing technical items or operating on someone.

although sterile dirt and dust without any germs or other toxins would still need cleaning if on any surface. It has different degrees but like weeds anything stuck on something otherwise clean which does not belong would be considered dirt whatever it was made of. The common definition would be something germy or mucky but it also depends on the standards required for the situation.

I went to a Saturday matinee movie in about 1958 or 1959, and I saw a western that I'd love to find again. I don't think it had any big-name stars in it. The only part of the plot I remember: Two good guys - one older, one younger (perhaps a child) are trapped in a cabin that the bad guys are going to burn down. The older good guy digs a hole in the dirt floor of the cabin, puts the younger guy in the hole, and covers him with dirt. He has a stovepipe to breathe through, and a coffee can inverted over the end of the stovepipe, either to keep the dirt out or maybe so the bad guys won't realize he's under there. The house burns to the ground and the bad guys think they've killed both good guys, but the younger one actually survives. I think it was in color but I'm not even sure of that. If you don't know the film, do you know of other places I might ask?
