    		Highest winning margin goes to Fitzroy 36.22(238) defeating Melbourne 6.12(48) by a total of 190 points.

    		The above refers only to a regular home and away match. For a Grand Final the greatest winning margin was that of 119 points with Geelong defeating Port Adelaide in 2007. For all finals the record is currently held by Essendon for their 125 point defeat of North Melbourne in a Qualifying Final in 2000.
