A flag flown by Scandinavian rulers between the ninth and eleventh centuries. The raven was an important symbol in that culture during that timeframe.

Or, if you are talking about the NFL team, the Raven banner would be the Maryland state flag with a B and a R added for Baltimore Ravens.

As that Wikipedia site notes, the raven banner was especially flown as a battle flag. The Norse believed that if the raven was lively (the flag flapped in the wind), they would win the battle, but they would lose if the flag drooped motionless.
I think the Baltimore Ravens should revive/adapt the Scandinavian battle flag, although that would not respect their Edgar Allan Poe origins...
