I may have to check further, but it seems likely that Niklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings is that player. Martin Brodeur of New Jersey has been with the Devils continuously since 1991-1992 as well, but he only played in 4 games that first season, and only played with the AHL Utica Devils in 1992-93.
