I may have to check further, but it seems likely that Niklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings is that player. He has played with them continuously since the 1991-92 season, making this his 20th year there. See http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/l/lidstni01.html.
Martin Brodeur of New Jersey has been with the Devils continuously since 1991-1992 as well, but he only played in 4 games that first season, and only played with the AHL Utica Devils in 1992-93. He won the Calder Trophy (Best NHL Rookie) in 1993-94. http://www.hockey-reference.com/players/b/brodema01.html

Given that Lidstrom currently leads all active players by well over 100 games in the number of games played, and all the next players on that list have each played for several teams over the years, I am confirming that Niklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings is the active player who has played the longest with the same team.
