    Jimi got his first guitar at age 15 and he started learning right away.

    		He was actually 14 when he acquired a broken acoustic guitar with one string (bought for $5). He was learning to play it, although he couldn't afford to buy strings for it until later. He got his first electric guitar just when he was 16.
